The Story of Refuge Ministry:

For many years, the Waltons have opened their home for the purpose of studying God’s Word and offering a place to enjoy Christian community. The goal was simple: gather regularly to study and apply God’s Word. Through the years, they had the chance to pour into many high school and college-age students during several brief seasons of life. Near the end of 2020, God led them to open their home again. However, this time opening their home lasted more than a season. Refuge Ministry started as friends inviting friends to a weekly Bible study. It has since become a ministry that reaches many who are not connected to a local church or felt they did not have a place to connect with a Biblical community. Today, Refuge Ministry remains dedicated to faithfully studying God’s Word, building community, and impacting this generation.
