Dave Walton

Dave and his wife, Marti, began Refuge Ministry in 2020 with a focus on God’s Word and building intentional relationships. Dave has a passion for teaching God’s Word and for seeing others launch into ministry. Many students from Refuge have gone on to serve in ministries in the U.S. and in other countries and many are also pursuing a biblical education in college to prepare them for future roles in ministry. Dave is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and has been serving in full and part time ministry for the past 35+ years. He and Marti married in 1989 and have 9 kids.

Ashton Walton

Ashton is part of the teaching team for Refuge. In addition, he also coordinates a team that performs all technical and streaming aspects of Refuge and manages the Refuge social media and website. Ashton is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and is currently attending Moody Seminary.

Gabby Maxwell

Gabby has been part of Refuge since it began in 2020. She has a heart for worship that has led her to serve on the worship team at her home church and help lead worship for various ministries in the past. At Refuge, she coordinates the team that leads worship each week.
